Help The Brave Fight Cancer

“When the unthinkable becomes reality in one finger prick, I can only hope all patients and their families feel a fraction of the support in which we’ve received.

Lincoln the Brave

Supporting Childhood Cancer in TX

Lincoln The Brave is a not-for-profit organization in support of Texas childhood cancer patients and their immediate families.

Our goal is to help shoulder the financial burden for families as their child fights cancer by funding medical bills, food and groceries, and other unexpected expenses. We are also dedicated to making the Oncology Unit more comfortable by stocking the family room with nutritious food and the hospitality cart with comfort essentials.

An entire family endures the hardships of childhood cancer. Our organization hopes to bring some hope to these brave families by creating a platform for them to receive support when they need it most.

Different Ways To Give

Support comes in many forms outside of monetary donations.

Time & Love

Cancer is hard on the whole family, not just on the patient. You can help by spending time with siblings, being a friend and just being there.

Blood Donations

We partner with Carter Blood Care to do blood drives. Our goal is to ensure no kids are waiting on critically low blood products.

Money or Items

We have a lot of needs at the hospital floor. You can help by donating money, donating food items, hygiene items and other essensials.

Partnerships

Connect us with local businesses or other organizations to that can help us spread the word.

Our Founders

Meet Our Warriors

Our non-profit organization, Lincoln The Brave, was inspired by young Lincoln Finely’s courageous battle with cancer. It was founded by Lincoln’s mother, Ashley Torres Cunningham, and is led by Executive Director Jennifer Kohan. Together with your help, we can empower children fighting cancer and their families by their sides.
